Mediation is a confidential, voluntary process where the impartial mediator facilitates the parties to explore resolution to any issues. It is usually a quicker process than more formal routes and is less adversarial.
Mediation has a good success rate. It isn't guaranteed to work but it puts the parties in no different position if it isn't successful so there's little to lose by trying this highly effective option.
